I just love the Ruby Slippers…they put me in mind of an incident with Margaret Hamilton, the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. Years ago I was waiting on line at my bank in NYC, and standing in front of me was Miss Hamilton, not green or scary, looking quite pleasant, waiting her turn at the teller’s. What a world, what a world!!! Happy Memories, Merry Christmas!
Perfect post for Christmas – & I appreciate the sentiment, there is no place like home 🙂 We were off at Palm Springs for a few days & it was so nice to have Christmas meal at home. I hope yours was just wonderful. I'm off for a week next week and I am going to try and make the souffles au Comte. I'll be happy if they come out 1/2 as good as your look.
I love your blog so very much!! It is better than a spa!! This site is just beautiful. Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to you and your family!! I am hoping you will some day make ( if you haven’t already :)) creamy polenta and short ribs!! mmmm
