Foodbuzz Blogger Festival in San Francisco

I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me
To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars
The morning fog may chill the air, I don’t care

My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco
Your golden sun will shine for me

Day 3
Build Your Own Bloody Mary
The festival ended with a delicious brunch and build-your-own Bloody Mary bar sponsored by Nature’s Pride and Skyy Spirits at Restaurant LuLu. The Farewell Brunch was the perfect ending to an amazing weekend. Besides hanging out with my dear dear friend Father Adam, and getting to meet many awesome bloggers, my next favorite part of the event, being a table setting aficionado myself, was that Outstanding Table! I haven’t stopped talking about it! A heartfelt thank you to the folks at Foodbuzz for all your planning and creativity and graciousness. The weekend rocked!

  1. Lori Lynn, Beautiful recap! Only wish I would have met you. Next year, and thank you for the song, melts my heart!

  2. Lori Lynn,
Are you telling me that if I start a food blog, I too can be invited to such fare?
Does it help that I love Keller, Puck, Trotter and all the other star chefs?

  3. Lori – It was great to meet you and Father Adam. I had a wonderful time at the Festival and in SF. In fact, I just got back a few hours ago so I won't be posting till later in the week. Did you climb the rafters to get those overhead shots?? Love them.

  4. With the music playing while looking at the picture it almost takes you there. Love the photos of everyone taking pictures of their food. Only a blogger!
    Thanks for sharing.

  5. It was nice meeting you too during the warehouse dinner 🙂
And we all got a kick out of seeing Matt's face on our banners haha

  6. You've really done an excellent job of writing this up! How did our paths not cross? So many foodies in one place. Goodness. It was a lot of fun!

  7. I really enjoyed your report and photos of the festival events. I soooo wished I was able to join y'all — I vow to go next year!

  8. Sounds like a grand time! I really regret missing this, so will definitely plan to be there next time!

  9. I did not attend the festival but heard it was so much fun. It was great to see my city from your eyes – really enjoyed this post/

  10. Hopefully we can meet at next year's Foodbuzz festival! Your rendition of the event was great! I didn't get to go to the Morning at the Market, so it was nice to see how that went through your eyes. Cheers to Foodbuzz!!

  11. Most of them like you having a fabulous time over there! They don't just enjoy the food & products but also meeting their fb friends face to face. How nice is that! I wish I live in San Francisco. However, thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures. And I love the dogs at below too. haha…. So funny! I'm a dog lover.

  12. Great meeting you at the Foodbuzz fest. The weekend was a lot of fun and it was a great way to connect with other food lovers. I'll make sure to visit your blog on a regular basis. Your photos are spectacular.

  13. Dear Lori Lynn,
it is always such a pleasure catching up with you!
This particular event sounds like a true adventure. Thank heaven, I went to two different outdoor markets this morning – pre-Thanksgiving shopping – and am not hungry right now, otherwise the delicacies all over the pictures here would have been almost unbearable to look at it.

  14. LL, so nice to finally put a face to the food! I wish I was there and I'll try my best to be at the next Foodbuzz Friendly!

  15. And a fun time was had by all. Hope they host a similar event in NY sometime. Thanks for sharing w/ those who couldn't be there.

That's a particularly great shot of the close-up cluster of soup bowls.

  16. Fabulous coverage here! I miss these kinds of events. Dallas had so many good ones at one time, but the economy hit us, and now Jersey has nothing like this, so hope to go one day!

  17. Sure looks like it was a fantastic trip! I left my heart in San Francisco too–when we moved away (some time ago)…a beautiful city, and a foodie haven.
